According to the previous disclosure, this Tianji 9 series iterative processor will be named Tianji 9200, which is the flagship product launched by MediaTek to mainly benchmark Snapdragon 8Gen2 next year. Compared with Tianji 9000, the biggest change of Tianji 9200 is that the CPU is replaced with the latest Cortex-X3 super core. As an upgraded version of Cortex-X2, Cortex-X3 has a lot of improvements in its overall architecture. The number of instructions per cycle of the decoder is increased from 5 to 6, the number of out of sequence execution windows is increased from 288 to 320, and the number of integer ALU units is increased from 4 to 6. In terms of cache, the L2 cache capacity of Cortex-X3 has also been increased from 512KB to 1MB, while the L3 cache capacity has reached 8MB. Compared with the previous generation, it is estimated that the performance will be improved by 25%.

The first model has also been exposed, which is the X90 series from vivo. In addition, this X90 series will also use a 1-inch IMX989 sensor and self-developed V2 chip, and the image will be further improved.

MediaTek's upcoming Tianji 9200 processor performance improvement is still relatively large, which is relatively better than the previous processor optimization. For the time being, we can confirm that the vivoX90 series has a new opportunity to launch this processor for the first time. No relevant news has been released for other models, so let's look forward to it!
