OPPO's second self-developed chip Mariana Y was unveiled for Bluetooth headset

OPPO will hold the Future Science and Technology Conference in China on December 14-15. In addition to the new health concept products and the second generation of folding screen mobile phones, OPPO will also release its second self-developed chip. At present, OPPO India has officially announced the second self-developed chip overseas. This chip is named Mariana Y and will be used in Bluetooth earphones.

Before the release, OPPO India officially announced the name and purpose of the chip overseas. The chip is called MariSilicon Y. According to the previous naming method of MariSilicon X, the name in China is expected to be "Mariana Y", which is used to improve the sound quality of Bluetooth earphones.

The chip supports 24 bit/192kHz ultra-high quality lossless audio, the maximum bandwidth can reach 12Mbps, AI computing power can reach 590GOPS, supports local Music Extraction technology, personalized spatial audio, adopts TSMC N6RF technology, and can be embedded in Bluetooth headphones.

As early as 2019, OPPO announced that it would invest 50 billion yuan in cutting-edge technology research and development in three years, and put forward a 3+N+X technology transition strategy in 2020. Three of them represent OPPO's three core technologies - Mariana, Pantanal and Andes, which correspond to OPPO's chip business, software engineering and cloud services respectively.
