From March 22 to 24, 2023, under the guidance of the National 6G Technology Research and Development Promotion Working Group and the Overall Expert Group, the 2023 Global 6G Technology Conference, hosted by the Future Mobile Communication Forum and Zijinshan Laboratory, will be held in Nanjing with the theme of "6G connects the world and works together to create the future".

In the past 2022, the application of 5G industry continued to deepen, and the global 6G R&D has also accelerated. At present, China has made important progress in the research of key technologies such as 6G ultra-large scale MIMO, terahertz communication, synaesthesia, endogenous AI communication, deterministic network, satellite-ground integrated network, etc.

It is worth mentioning that from February 1, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will optimize and adjust the frequency of the microwave communication system, which will further meet the needs of high-capacity information transmission (microwave return) scenarios such as 5G base stations, and reserve spectrum resources for China's 5G, industrial Internet, and future 6G.

China Telecom said that on the basis of 5G large bandwidth, low latency and large connection, users in the 6G era will have a more cool new experience, and the network speed will be increased to tens of Gbps to Tbps, which will strongly support the immersive XR service.

Not only is the network speed fast, but also the 6G era will realize the seamless network coverage in the whole area. Through the integration of heaven, earth and sea, it can effectively meet the network requirements of unmanned aerial vehicle inspection in remote areas and on-site emergency communication in disaster areas.
