The competition in the mobile phone industry is becoming increasingly fierce day by day. Although Apple is still the leader, the distance between the numerous Android models is getting smaller and even stronger in some aspects than the iPhone. Although the overall momentum looks good, the sales of the iPhone 13 series are still much higher than those of the Android phones in the 2022 Chinese market, as shown in the recent Top 10 Best Selling Phones released by Counterpoint Research!

In 2022, the top 10 best-selling mobile phones in the Chinese market were released: the iPhone won the top three, still strong!

The latest data released by Counterpoint Research shows that in 2022, the iPhone 13 series not only sold well, but also ranked first in the Chinese market.

The report points out that last year, the iPhone 13 had a market share of 6.6% in China, ranking first. Next are 13 Pro Max and 13 Pro, with their respective shares of 2.2% and 1.9%. According to Counterpoint Research, Apple's iPhone not only ranks among the top three in terms of purchase volume, but also contributes over 10% of smartphone sales in the Chinese market. In the high-end mobile phone market in China, Apple is still active and performing well.

Except for these three Apple phones, the phones ranked fourth to tenth are all domestic Android phones. Specifically, these phones are: HONOR X30, OPPO A56 5G, Glory Play 30 Plus, vivo Y33s 5G, HONOR 60, vivo Y76s and Glory Play 20. In the high-end market, the Android camp is still in a passive state.

According to Counterpoint's prediction, the sales share of the top ten aircraft models will continue to decline by 2023, partly due to a continuous decline in annual sales.

It is not difficult to see from this sales volume that the iPhone is still the favorite and most willing phone for domestic users. In fact, this gap cannot be caught up in a short period of time, as Android manufacturers still have a lot of way to go in terms of processors and operating systems.
