Vivo X Fold 2 The foldable screen phone passed the mandatory product certification in China on April 4th, and was confirmed to be equipped with the maximum; 20Vdc 6A 120W charger.
The machine has already made its debut at the Boao Forum for Asia and is expected to be released this month (April 2023). The new machine will use a rear mounted disc three camera module with a red back cover, which looks much like two vivo X90 red versions pieced together.
The blogger @ Digital Chat Station revealed that the device is equipped with an IMX866+V2 ISP three camera system, without periscope telephoto, and is over 10% lighter in weight than its predecessor. Its thickness keeps up with the mainstream and belongs to a very thin folding screen.
The vivo X Fold2 is expected to use an 8-inch Samsung E6 screen with 2K resolution, supporting 120Hz high brushing, as well as LTPO dynamic high brushing, and supporting 3D ultrasound under screen fingerprints. Equipped with the second-generation Snapdragon 8 processor, built-in 4800mAh dual cell battery, and supporting 120W flash charging, it is the first second-generation Snapdragon 8 foldable screen phone to support 100W flash charging.
In terms of imaging, the vivo X Fold2 is equipped with a 50 megapixel Sony IMX866 main camera, supporting OIS optical anti shake, supplemented by a 12 megapixel IMX663 ultra wide angle camera and a 12 megapixel IMX663 telephoto camera.
The current configuration of vivo X Fold 2 is shown above. However, I feel that there have been many changes in the lightweight aspect, such as the 120W fast charging. In other aspects, the changes have not attracted everyone's interest, and the telephoto has been cut off. The next thing we will see is whether there will be a breakthrough in price.
