Qualcomm previously released Snapdragon; 780G Chips, and the new Snapdragon; 7 Gen 1 The chips are manufactured by Samsung. The two chips use the flagship process, 5nm process and 4nm process respectively. Some people believe that the main reason for not using a large number of terminals is that Samsung has low yield, low production capacity, and insufficient power consumption control.

The CPU power consumption of Snapdragon 8+is about 30% lower than that of Snapdragon 8, and the overall power consumption of the platform is about 15% lower than that of Snapdragon 8. This shows that TSMC technology is more mature and its power consumption control is better.
