The Dimensity 7050 processor uses TSMC’s 6nm process.6nm chips refer to chips manufactured using 6 nanometer technology. Generally, mobile phone chips are very small, about as wide as a finger, but they are composed of up to billions of transistors, and each transistor has a gate (Valve), mainly responsible for controlling the on and off of the source and drain stages at both ends.The minimum width of the gate is the value in nm (nanometer) process.

For the just-released MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, the CPU part is composed of 2 2.6GHz Cortex-A78 large cores and 6 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 small cores, and the GPU part is equipped with Mali-G68 MC4, supporting LPDDR5/4xand UFS 3.1/2.1.Among them, Cortex-A78 is the successor of the A76 architecture. The new core is largely consistent with the characteristics of the previous generation product and is still an ARM v8.2 CPU core.
