AirPods Update:

It is easier to manage AirPods settings in iOS 16. When connecting to AirPods, a special option section will appear in the Settings App. IOS 16 also adds a personalized spatial audio function, which uses the original depth camera to scan the user's ears, providing a unique listening experience tailored for users.

IPhone running iOS 16 already supports Face ID in landscape mode. When iPhone is not held in standard portrait direction, it can unlock the phone more easily. This feature is limited to iPhone 13 and later.

Protect hidden and deleted photos:

In iOS 16, users need to use Face ID or Touch ID for authentication before they can access hidden and recently deleted albums. If someone accesses your phone without unlocking it, iPhone will lock these albums.

WiFi password:

If you have ever been frustrated by not being able to access the network WiFi password you are using, this will change in iOS 16. In the iPhone's WiFi settings, users can finally see the connected network password.

Keyboard haptic feedback:

IOS 16 has a keyboard setting that allows users to enable haptic feedback while typing. Each key will generate vibration, providing users with a physical confirmation that the letter has been clicked.

Copy and delete screenshots:

When users capture screenshots on iOS, they can also "copy and delete" screenshots in addition to saving them to "photos", "quick notes" and "files". The new option saves screenshots to the clipboard, making it easier to use one-time screenshots without having to save them to the device for cleaning.

Ability to delete "Find My", "Clock" and "Health":

Starting with iOS 14, Apple allows users to uninstall some apps pre installed on the iPhone. More uninstallable apps are available in iOS 16, including "Find My", "Clock" and "Health". Users can also re download deleted apps from the App Store.

Built in currency conversion:

IOS 16 has a built-in currency conversion function in the camera and Photos app. Just aim the iPhone camera at the price tag, wait for the real-time text icon to appear, click and hold the price, and then select "Convert".

View battery percentage:

In iOS 16, Apple allows users to display the iPhone's battery percentage directly in the status bar within the battery icon, although the status bar battery percentage is not available on all iPhones.

Use Siri to hang up the phone:

A new setting in iOS 16 allows users to use Siri to end an ongoing call. Enter Settings> Accessibility> Siri and activate the call hang up. The user can say "Hey Siri, hang up" to end the call in progress. Note that others on the call will hear your request to Siri before hanging up.

Prevent accidental call termination:

Users on iOS 16 can now disable the side buttons to end a call. In previous iOS versions, pressing the side button and locking iPhone during a call immediately ended the call. In iOS 16, Apple allows users to enter Settings> Accessibility> "Touch" and turn on "Prevent lock to end call" to disable the function.

Sorting options for playlists:

In Apple Music on iOS 16, users can now sort playlists by title, artist, album, and release date. When viewing the playlist, press the three points in the upper right corner to find new sorting options.

One of the main but perhaps little-known features of iOS 16 is that Apple will bring back a full screen lock screen music player. When listening to songs from Apple Music, Spotify or other third-party music apps, press to lock the album cover on the screen in "Now Playing" to enter the new player appearance. Click the full screen album cover to minimize "Now Playing".

Space audio designed for users:

With the latest AirPods and some Beats headphones, iOS 16 users can activate personalized spatial audio. This feature supports  The LiDAR scanner on iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro scans the shape of the user's ears to provide a better spatial audio experience.

New warning during charging:

On iOS 16, if the user's iPhone heats up, the phone will receive a new notification telling the user that charging will be suspended until the iPhone temperature drops. This is to prevent possible long-term damage to the iPhone battery.

IOS16 has many hidden functions, and these functions are very easy to use. As long as you master the use of these functions, you can use your mobile phone more conveniently and efficiently in daily life, and it will also make your mobile phone more secure.
