Xiangjie S9 is the first model jointly built by Huawei and BAIC. It is officially defined as a panoramic smart flagship sedan.Yu Chengdong, Managing Director of Huawei, Chairman of Terminal BG, and Chairman of Smart Car Solutions BU, once said that the Xiangjie S9 is more comfortable than the Maybach and will directly compete with traditional BBA flagship cars such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series, and Audi A8L after its launch.
